Hey guys, look at this:

I saw on ED's twitter that they linked this:

http://www.a-10c.com/en/downloads/mi...del_templates/

As you can see, a new domain: www.a-10c.com

So I was thinking, If they wanna go on with this type of linking, they should have had registered the domain for their future product, so I went on:

www.f-16.com

www.f-15c.com etc.

then this: www.f-18c.com. See for your self to which site it redirects!biggrin.gif

So what you say, next module F-18C?biggrin.gif

EDIT: Link is not working anymore, but it worked yesterday

Seeing that new domain names cost about $10 to register, I'd venture that it's smart business to snap up as many F-xx and A-xx domains as you can, even if you don't have plans to build a DCS module, cuz you never know. Better to buy it now for $10 when it's available than have to buy it off the Fighter Ops crew for $10,000.

Your investigation skills worry me a little, but that's a brilliant bit of sleuthing.

I certainly don't want to pressure ED to "rush" anything lest we don't have as spectacular a product as BS and A-10C, but if there is genuinely a carrier ops-based flight sim of the quality ED is capable of on the horizon... wow.

Good find. :D

Hey Stretch, definitely not saying it's true, but gives room for speculation.

Also guys, this:

http://www.whois.net/whois/f-18c.com

Look at the creation date, which is the same as:

http://www.whois.net/whois/a-10c.com

So that would be a rather late business decision then, but could be what you are saying nonetheless.

EDIT: to see if Stretch is right, whoever finds another one, get a cookie :D

Kasper- are they still there? If so- Where? I looked for those a while back- never saw em.

Yes they are, once you go to the photo section on their facebook account, you have to click on 'See all: Photos' on the top right of that screen.

The F-18 pics are under the "Military" album.

If you haven't clicked see all, you will just see 6 albums, there are 9 though.

EDIT- Don't go to their new update page either, it's the first page. If you only see 1 photo album you're in the wrong spot.

EDIT - It's this one 'http://www.facebook.com/eagle.dynamics'

Isn't there a way to make ANY of those redirect to digitalcombatsimulator.com?
