I've recently upgraded to win8 64 using the promotian available until the end of February and I am very glad with the change.

My only simulators are DCS World, SilentWings and Aerofly FS. They all run beautifully on this system! I am enjoying VERY MUCH win8, even being on a desktop without a tactile monitor :-/

Well I have 16GB of RAM so 32bit wouldn't do me a whole lot of good.

Wags just told us 32 bit is not supported any more. Can you still get it work with 32 bit windows? (friend of mine asked me, win7 64bit here:) )

64 bit programs do not work on 32 bit OS. But 32 bit programs work on 64 bit OS .

Yeah so they dropped out 32 bit version already some time ago then?

I've been using x64 since XPx64(2003) and the benefits are still pretty minimal in most games. It's a shame it takes so long for devs to have the funding to take advantage of things.

That's more than some people thought. 32bit isn't that dead. But you guyz should consider 64 :)

Really?

60 vs 40 or 70 vs 30 that's what I would call "isn't that dead"

but

90 vs 10 is quite dead! :smilewink:
