Rough idea of what's happening:

The devs are working on it.

I can only speak in generalities, but there is an ECM issue (which a lot of you are probably familiar with), network code review, a crash bug was located and worked on, and a bunch of other things.

if the devs want to give you details, they will do so, but I think they're a little too busy right.

That pretty much covers the biggest issues I got. I get sometimes hard boots when joining a server with lots of AI vehicles, fighters or even civilian cars and buses. I already know, if the loading times take too long, I will have a forced reset. Might have to do with texture loading and memory access. Because I have been also getting memory errors when exiting the game after like half an hour of play.

Another thing is that some people, like me, complain about memory leaks while others do not. The other day there was a guy at UBI who had this problem, but whn he swiched Joystick (and its programing utility) his problem vanished. Very odd.

Also I have noticed online that planes going warp bazerk has decreased but at the same time "micro" jerkiness had increased. you can see it by watching their speed on radar or by the lead dot indicator, or when we form up, the others player planes seem to be on fever and shake.

I don't think so. Zooming in only reduces the rendering field of view, not moving to virtual camera closer. As far as DirectX is concerned, those buildings and trees are still far far away, and ED wants far away objects transparent. I too love to have an option to turn this off.

Wasn't there a recent post from the developers describeing a new direction for tree rendering.....

Trees will have a more three dimentional effect so it looks like they're working on this and there will eventually be a fix for this issue.....
