jib Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 This is great! I was having a play around with your Ipadpit profile to see if I could get all the switches animated. I didn't have much luck yet. Great to know you are still working on it and giving it away for free! Ghost_unit13 Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Have you figured out a way to get the CDU rotary Dials to be animated yet? cus that would be the coolest! Shouldn't be a problem.. got the animated CDU dials ready and can use the scripts I showed here.. Will do it next when I've got time. www.Ipadpit.nl :pilotfly:
Ghost_unit13 Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Using the virtual monitor all the time now..:) Works very good for me. One's you got it setup it is ready for use every time you start the grabber in Touch IR and A10.. all I do when I want to fly is load my CH Hotas Profile start TrackIR,TouchIR, start grab function and start A10.. and of I go! www.Ipadpit.nl :pilotfly:

Making the animation images will be most of the work now.. not sure how fare I will go, but the idea was to get all buttons animated.. www.Ipadpit.nl :pilotfly:

Ghost_unit13 Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Hiii...how did you get so fast response on tgp screen using dual mfd setup...mine doesnt update so fast.... I set the grabber on medium quality. I had it on High with the small static MFD's that I used when they were on my default monitor. Now I got them on my virtual monitor I made them larger(300x300) and so the grab quality can be down. You have to try a bit to get the best performance with the quality that is good for you :) www.Ipadpit.nl :pilotfly:
IB2EZ2C Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 (edited) It is a shame that ipads and tablets are so expensive. Just a quick FYI: At the Verizon Store in Covington, WA I found Ipad 64s (wifi only) on sale for $399, so I scooped up 2. Everywhere else I looked was at least $100-$200 more. The manager offered me a free screamin modem, but I'm happy with just the wifi. I would assume any Verizon store would have the same offer going. Edited May 26, 2011 by IB2EZ2C

I also managed to port video from mfds to my ipad2, and then using touchir with ipadpit (managed to use export without my iphone, which was my first solution). Still cant use virtual monitor on my ati card... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Pilot from Croatia
