Great app, any chance of enhancing the data card section or adding a full 9 line card in there too?

Excellent work! Just found one thing. It seems in the encyclopedia from the Mi 8 on, the information displayed is for the next helo in the list, not the selected aircraft.

Thanks Spetz! Huge oversight on my part, bad QA! Next update for iPhone and the new iPad version that's almost done will have it corrected for sure.

I was wondering why they didn't include a knee board of some sort that contained checklists, mission data, weapon profiles, and the like in the game. Kudos to you for eliminating the need for it.

Hey Sickdog,

Pretty damn nice app mate! especially love the notepad! I haven't used it "in-game" yet, but been fooling around a bit with it to see in how many practical applications i can actually put it to use.

I have one suggestion for you; concerning the encyclopedia-side of things, an interactive RWR section would be great. Here's what i mean;

a quicker list of all the RWR icons list, which are all clickable (tap), which in turn, loads its critical information list (engagement distance, max distance/altitude reach, toa...)and a small picture of the threat, to make it easier to spot on the TGP/MAV.

Basically, here's at it'd go;

1. find and tap the RWR code as it appears on your HUD

2. Pop a window/new page with critical information on threat

3.1. Offer possibility to link to Encyclopedia for further details

3.2. Back button/finger swap to return to the Notepad/RWR interactive listing.

Also, this option should be selectable from the notepad view as it will most likely be the one open while in-flight.

Keep up the excellent work! This is totally awesome.

Edit: I can't give Rep for some reason; but i'd definitely add a +1. Cheers,

Thisdale: All great ideas and I have been trying to figure out a good way to enhance the RWR section to make it more useful. It's on my list of things to do after I release the iPad version (which is a slower process than I envisioned!). Plus, I'm very busy with work and studying up for a new airplane to fly, so I'll get to it in the future. But thanks again for the comments and suggestions!

Derin,

pardon my ignorance, but I was unaware that there was a UK App Store. Strange, I've seen the locations of people downloading the app while logged into my Apple developer account, and I see people downloading all over the world, including the UK. Not quite sure what to say, haven't come up with anything with the little research I've done... anyone else care to chime in, especially if you're in the UK?

Well I know you can localise Apps, so not being able to find it I assumed you may have not released it here. Localisation could be language based rather than country specific, so I may be talking rubbish! Either way I can't find it :(

Hi Derwin, I've downloaded it using iTunes in Uk so yes it is out there for us in Uk. Try the following link

itunes.apple.com/gb/app/iwarthog/id441020577?mt=8

Or just google Iwarthog. Gives the link to it straight away.

Enjoy it's a great app. Only issue I know have is which DCS A10 app do I now run as all are great :)

Can't wait for the IPad version

Forgive me. But why do people keep asking iPhone developers whether they are going to make stuff for Android?

If you were really searching for "iWorthog", this is the reason why there were no results. The correct name is "iWarthog" ;)

Android version in sight?

Nomis, just take a look into android market and search for "DCS Manager" by Frédéric Faure. There you go with aerodrome charts and checklists, procedures, etc....

or follow this link: https://market.android.com/details?id=fr.yeepeekai.dcs.manager&feature=search_result

I'm happy to see there is finally an android app out there for you android folks!

And just a quick update on the iPhone/iPad front... I have the iPad version about 90% done and updates nearly ready for the iPhone version, but I had to abandon the work for the time being while I'm in training to learn a new plane.... It's consuming 110% of my time right now, but hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks I'll be able to resume the iPad work and submit it to Apple in September.
