Bear in mind hes using a version of that still has beta debugging code and also Fraps running in the background and yet its still smooth as silk. http://www.flyaoamedia.com/aoa/nicks-737ngx-cockpit-thoughts/ Edited July 25, 2011 by andysim PMDG 737NGX Coming in 7 to 10 days!!!

andysim Posted July 22, 2011 Author Posted July 22, 2011 I love the little details.. fingerprints on displays, dust, reflection of glass infront of gauges, details on windows...looking forward for it I love the sound changes when the Stanby gauges are changed =) And the very faint sound of the hydralic systems when he switches them on. When I finaly get my hands on this thing im going to just sit on the ramp and take in all the sounds and check every inch!. Its a work of art. Its taken them a long time to make only because they have missed nothing.
Phantom88 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 WOW! Really the most detail I've seen in FSX,Thanks for sharing Andy. Cheers Patrick

andysim Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 They just added another 19 min video of the aircraft inflight! http://www.flyaoamedia.com/aoa/nicks-737ngx-afdsegpws-impressions/ Honestly that HGS (HUD to you military buffs) is just the most wonderfull thing ive ever seen in a flightsim, its perfectly collimated and so clear. At least on par with the VRS superbug or even the DCS A10c HUD. Its almost painfull to wait for this thing but its such a high quality its going to be more then worth the pain :pilotfly: Its also a good showcase for ORBX scenery, although you wont find many airliners doing VFR in mountains I fly my A2A Accusim B-17 down these vallys alot.

hassata Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 That's detailed goodness to the point of obscenity. Just sickness. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SmokeyTheLung Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Wow! That might have sold me on a copy of FSX System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer

Yskonyn Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Wow, I fly the 737NG in real life and I am awestruck with what these guys are showing for the 737NGX for FSX! Great, great job! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-E, 32GB Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz, Intel i7 9700K 5.0Ghz, Asus GTX1080 8GB, SoundBlaster AE-5, G15, Streamdeck, DSD Flight, TM Warthog, VirPil BRD, MFG Crosswind CAM5, TrackIR 5, KW-908 Jetseat, Win 10 64-bit ”Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing. However, if pilots would need to do daily what they are capable of doing, nobody would dare to fly anymore.”
andysim Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Wow, I fly the 737NG in real life and I am awestruck with what these guys are showing for the 737NGX for FSX! Great, great job! They really are the Eagle Dynamics of the Civilian world =)
andysim Posted July 27, 2011 Author Posted July 27, 2011 Some background system demos. http://www.flyaoamedia.com/aoa/nicks-737ngx-systems-depth-preview/ I really love how deep the systems go. Some addons look pretty but have limited systems, some have complex systems but dont look so good. This seems to have everything anyone could ever want from a PC based airliner addon.
andysim Posted July 27, 2011 Author Posted July 27, 2011 price is announced on the PMDG forum! a very reasonable $69.99(Base pack with 800/900 series) for such a complex and beautiful aircraft!. 600 and 700s coming 4+ weeks later for $24.99. I like this idea as those that are waitning for the 600 and 700s can practice with the 800/900.
hassata Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Learning and flying that thing'll be a full time job. You'll have to retire from active service in the A-10 and maybe transition into the reserves :D. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
