In about 99.999% of all online flying there is absolutley no desire for any co-op flying, teaming up or anything which resembles something like that. Pity. Ice i look forward to fly your mission in the weekend. met vriendelijke groet, Михель "умный, спортсмен, комсомолетс" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] [TABLE]SPECS: i9-9900K 32gigs RAM, Geforce 2070RTX, Creative XFi Fata1ity, TIR5, Valve Index & HP Reverb, HOTAS Warthog, Logitech G933 Headset, 10Tb storage.[/TABLE]

GGTharos Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Nice stuff Ice ... could you share it so I can test it on the Beta server? It will be more interesting with the new EWR features ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Pilotasso Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I came acorss an Idea...why not make an airbase war? I mean: Put EWR near the players base, long range sams and AAA. But in a way that theres a chance for Su-25's and A-10's to get close by through valeys. AA fighters would take the role of covering that SAM blind spots over tha valeys. So if both components of defense of a base fails, SAM's and CAP's, the oposing team wins when base is taken. Take over could be simulated by one plane landing on the oponents base. Capture the flag fashion. .

What your suggesting is like one of the stock H2H multiplayer missions that came with lo-mac 1.0. Sounds nice though. met vriendelijke groet, Михель "умный, спортсмен, комсомолетс" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] [TABLE]SPECS: i9-9900K 32gigs RAM, Geforce 2070RTX, Creative XFi Fata1ity, TIR5, Valve Index & HP Reverb, HOTAS Warthog, Logitech G933 Headset, 10Tb storage.[/TABLE]

GGTharos Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Thanks, I'll put it on the Beta server and see how it works out. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
pappavis Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 For anyone interested, Google Earth is a great addition to lo-mac. Using the Google Eart program I have zoomed in to spots where Ice have pu the EWR-radars. met vriendelijke groet, Михель "умный, спортсмен, комсомолетс" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] [TABLE]SPECS: i9-9900K 32gigs RAM, Geforce 2070RTX, Creative XFi Fata1ity, TIR5, Valve Index & HP Reverb, HOTAS Warthog, Logitech G933 Headset, 10Tb storage.[/TABLE]
Guest ruggbutt Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 I have about a dozen online missions I created for LMR that had various targets to be destroyed. LMR randomizes different aspects of the missions so that while the target remains the same, sometimes that pesky SAM site isn't there. We've been flying missions like these for a year.
britgliderpilot Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 For anyone interested, Google Earth is a great addition to lo-mac. Using the Google Eart program I have zoomed in to spots where Ice have pu the EWR-radars. BAM! Google Earth shots as included real-world satellite reconnaissance photos with a mission . . . . . HELL YES! Lomac doesn't include any support for pics to be included with a briefing, but it's still a good idea. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
