Jane's USAF and windows 7

Anyone have this game and if so do you have it running on Windows 7? I use to play this before Lock on and tried to fire it up tonight. I think I had it running on windows 7 about a year ago, would like to play it again.

Oh Yeah, I liked that one a lot back in the days.

I have to try it on Win7 though, I have no clue whether it will work or not.

But as VRPilot said: I would start with Win95 compatibility mode and see what happens.

That was the thing I didn't try, I tried it with Win98 compatible. I'll try it again today under 95 and see if that works.

Running it with 95 didn't work, I had it working with windows 7 a year ago. I tried to install Aliens vs Predator also and it didn't work either. Guess I'll try some more stuff.

Ive tried everything about a year ago and it never worked. I could never get it to work on windows xp :\

 

Its usaf 97 right? Actually I might have usnf 97 not usaf...those are two different games right?

I only know about USAF, I know it worked on XP and I've had it working on w7 for sure. Wish I would of never uninstalled it :( cause now I really want to play it. Could fly F-16, F-117, F-15, A-10, F-4 and F-22 :thumbup:. Also could fly the F-105 and Mig-29, but I hated flying the 105.

They where great. I still got some of them working on Windows now but my CPU is too fast. All of them are running so fast that I event can not make any corrections before crashing :music_whistling:

 

USNF'97 for Windows is one of those games I love... Longbow 2 too... but all not working anymore :(

i was also blown away with janes usaf , for its time it was way ahead in visuals lighting and sounds, a classic imo
