This Sim may be quality but I always find BEST BUY far from the Best Buy.

I believe it's 1.1.0.9, but I'm not 100% on that.

Got that confirmed. US DVD box is current (1.1.0.9).

Until 1.1.1 patch is released, ofc. :)

Thanks for the purchases. It was very difficult to get this niche product into US retail. We hope that good sales will show Best Buy made the right decision and they will sell similar products in the future.

Don't forget to market to Walmart and Game Stop, for those of us (like me) that don't prefer Best Buy prices.:music_whistling:

Does anyone know if this is the new US Boxed PC Version?

Thanks.

It sure looks like it should be but whoever put that page together should be shot.

The price is good though and I have ordered from ProVantage (my MFDs IIRC) with no problems.

I'm going to post screens and cockpit shots on other forums and spread the word its available at BB.Even if you are not into combat, DCS A-10C is an incredible realistic flight simulation.

And I'll be picking up my DVD copy also:thumbup:

That's the same problem everywhere around here too. The PC section in all of our Walmarts are getting smaller and the Console sections are getting larger. In GameStop, PC games are limited to 1 side of a small 2 sided rack on the floor. PC games can not be rented here or returned unless for exchange for same title, not true for Console games. :(

The retailers make it so hard for us to enjoy our interest, and if you find you don't like it, you're stuck with it .

The harder it is to find PC games in stores is what makes certain websites more and more popular.

Well Specter, a major impactor on the shrinking PC sections in game stores is the fact that a lot of people, myself included, haven't purchased hardcopy for quite a few years. (I think Supreme Commander was the last one for me, when it was released, meaning february 2007.) Consoles do not have the same option as well developed yet (though it certainly is coming), and has as a market been growing a lot faster than the PC market.

"Certain" sites were popular before this phenomenon, it's just the excuses being used that has changed. And that's the extent of discussion that's worth having about such sites. It's all been done many times and always ends with threads derailed and people ranting until they're blue in the face. :P

Well, I did not mind digital downloads for "try before you buy" demos but that was it. I saved a lot of money with demos. Too many good sounding lemons out there.

But you are right in the direction it is heading.

Precisely why I never buy any game/sim now that I have not "demmoed". In fact, DCS A10 and BS are the only one in years I have bought without a "demo".
