Rocky49 Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I am thinking about replacing my X52 Pro with the TM Warthog but I am worried about the ongoing issues with it....It seems that there are still lots of cases of poor construction with respect to some components in the throttle assembly as well has having to replace? The grease in the stick....I would not be too comfortable in taking apart a $500 controller so that I get the best performance ....after all isn't that why you pay big bucks for. System:Motherboard Asus ROG Strix Z390-E,Asus ROG GeForce RTX 2080Ti OC, GPU, 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 Ram, Intel i9 9900K @ 5 GHz , cooled by NZXT Kraken X52, Acer XB270HU G-Sinc monitor, Windows 10 Pro, Warthog joystick and throttle with wasy extension, VBK Gunfighter Pro and MCG Pro,MFG Rudder, running on a dedicated 1TB Samsung 970 Pro M2 Nvme , Super Wheel Stand Pro, with a HP Reverb G2
MTFDarkEagle Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I got mine november last year coming from an x52 (non-pro), and I would buy another one if mine would break down! As far as the issues: I think you are thinking that there are "lots of cases" as there are several threads about it. But, you're not seeing the threads of nothing wrong with it. agrasyuk Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 (edited) i own my for 2 and a half month. flashed the throttle day 1 and don't see any ongoing issues with it. stock grease. there is some stickiness but nothing to write about. it is a very good stick. while i still untill today can't fully justify the cost there is really no alternative to it, and that means paying whatever they ask... and BTW http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=81380 Edited November 15, 2011 by agrasyuk Anton. Rainmaker Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I am possibly on the hunt as well. It will match my Obutto that will be here tomorrow! :) I have noticed that Tiger Direct, Circuit City, & Comp USA are all the same entity really. Have been checking all three daily. I know they had a sale on them 3 weeks ago, and am hoping that it will come back at some point. $399 isn't really that bad, but I know they can be had for cheaper if found at the right time. If somone happens to come across a sale, please post on here. I will do the same.

Zlin Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I just got my TM HOTAS today. After about three hours of using it, I love it. It feels much more solid than any stick I have ever had. I replaced my Saitek X52 and at this point, I don't think I could go back to the Saitek. I really liked the Saitek X52 and have nothing but good things to say about it but, it's not a TM HOTAS. I considered buying the Saitek X-65F but shyed away from it due to the whole "force sensing" deal. I'm glad I held out for the TM HOTAS.
