DuckDuckGo (uh ... can I call you DuckGo for short?) puts E.D. as the first result. Hmm! I'll bet the DuckGo algorithms use hits instead of bribes. If I type the word "pizza" into Google, I get a first link that actually allows me to purchase a delivered pizza. (Or well, it would if I lived closer to the city; my dynamic IP causes Google to see me as in-town when I'm actually not.) Also some results that, based on my location, give me locations and adresses for pizza parlors in my area. Doing the same exercise in Duckduckgo gives me the option to order pizza. In the Unites States. As a sponsored link. (What was that mention of "bribes" with google search results?) Then the wiki page about what Pizza is, then another string of results that offer me the opportunity to order pizzas - yet again on a different continent, on the other side of the Atlantic ocean.
