EtherealN Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I suspect mipmap shenanigans as well, can you post a screenshot? Also, do you have any special cofnigurations done in driver level? chromium Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 maybe a very stupid question but... have you tried with texture settings high? in BS1 out-cockpit textures and in cockpit texture were correlated. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

HiJack Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Try setting your graphic card default to "opimum quality" also. That will tell you if the graphic setings is the issue.
74th_Lunatic Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 All the ATI settings are quality. It's just certain in cockpit text that looks, fuzzy until I lean in with TIR. Thanks for the assistance so far. I have looked at the text in DDS format and actually some of it is quite poor, it might be a resolution issue 1900X1200 that is causing it. Although the MipMap issues that I used to have with Falcon AF seem slightly reminiscent but on a lower level and only text specific. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Luigi Gorgonzola Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Possibly something like that? Apart from the different languages, the russian letters are very blurry. Of course, this varies with the ATI driver settings, but as the latin letters do particpate from the graphics driver as well, the difference remains.
74th_Lunatic Posted January 1, 2012 Author Posted January 1, 2012 No, they're really readable, will have to post a screenie. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
