92nd-MajorBug Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 so when the F18C comes to us someday It's more "If" than "When" to be honest 92nd Kodiak Air Force - May the Greuh be with you

Use a modifier, Mic switch up, press and paddle switch spring to mind. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
jp203000 Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) This is F15's throttle which is much like A10's but with a rotation axis on it . Edited January 10, 2012 by jp203000
Jona33 Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Sorry? Don't understand. I don't own the TMWH. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
sobek Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 You can use the friction slider or one of the excess hats. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!

dooom Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 how do you assign the friction wheel? it is the only input of my TM not available in the in game key mapper - do you use target for this? Honestly, I still have yet to figure out why i should ever need to use target at all.. all sims i fly have a clickable 3d pit with the exception of FC2 but FC2 does not require that kind of depth in key binds.. agrasyuk Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 how do you assign the friction wheel? it is the only input of my TM not available in the in game key mapper - do you use target for this? no. it is just another Axis available you assign it just like any other analog axis. and just to make sure we on same page, we talking about the slider to the right of the throttle handles (where the friction is dialed in on the real thing) and not the wheel (fictional) that is used to dial friction of the TMWH itself :) Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project
cichlidfan Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) Honestly, I still have yet to figure out why i should ever need to use target at all.. all sims i fly have a clickable 3d pit with the exception of FC2 but FC2 does not require that kind of depth in key binds.. I use Target to add things like view control or other non-cockpit functions as layered functions around my basic mapping. Some things are just easier with Target than in game options allow for. I use mic switch for that in BMS. fwd/back-range, up down-antena elevation. Makes perfect sense. Push will be a modifier, like in every other game. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
