Rearm

I am flying a campaign at the moment, I returned to Batumi for repairs which was fine, but I could not rearm, or refuel, talked to the tower no problem, am I doing somthing wrong? thanks in advance.

1.) Set the comms to INT to communicate with Ground Crew (rotary left side aft).

 

2.) Confirm that there is at least 1 friendly vehicle on base, they are required for rearming /refueling. Since it's a campaign, they should be there, but something to verify.

Just opened up a few of the missions in the editor and it seems there is not a vehicle there. I think somewhere in the patches they changed the airbase ownership behavior from simply needing an aircraft to start there to requiring a friendly unit to define ownership. This change has gone overlooked in some official missions.

That's right. I had the same issue and found out that one has to modify each mission in the mission editor. But it's an easy game, no advanced misskion editor knowledge required. Simply place a blue ground unit close to the airfield(s) (IIRC within 2 miles) you want to rearm or refuel at. The type of unit (tank, APC, Humvee, SAM,...) does not matter.

 

Save the mission after you have added the ground unit and all works fine :)

But for repairs you also need allied forces. The repair was ok so this can´t be the problem. Hve you tried the intercom suggestion?

 

You also may want to try to stop your engines and APU and open the canopy and talk to the ground crew directly. Not sure this works in WH but it does in BS2.
