Flamin_Squirrel Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Hi guys. I'm looking to construct an extension peice for my warthog, but I'm struggling to locate the relevant parts - especially the 36mm fittings to hold the stick. Can anyone advise me where I might be able to find something suitable in the UK? Thanks.
Kubi Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Hey, check out dimebug´s Thread. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=76032&page=11 You should get the Parts at your local Hardware Store. Cheers, Kubi My Pit so far: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=101455

Zenga Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Hi Flamin Squirrel, metalnwood also has offered some really great extensions. I just received mine this week - and it's great! Don't know if he still got some, but check here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65881 Cheers
Flamin_Squirrel Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 Thank you all. One last question, where did you guys find a 5-pin din extension? Keep finding ps/2 extensions!
Deadman Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 you might get a quicker answer here http://www.warthogworld.com/ https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
agrasyuk Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) Thank you all. One last question, where did you guys find a 5-pin din extension? Keep finding ps/2 extensions! PS/2 extension is what needed. remove the extra pin on male end and dremel bigger hole in the other one. I also had to significantly shorten that cable for it to fit properly inside the pipe Edited March 3, 2012 by agrasyuk Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project

metalnwood Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 To save yourself cutting, shortening and rewiring a long cable you can buy a ps/2 splitter cable. Thats what I send to people after I mode them. They will fit inside extensions down to about 75mm. I am not making extensions at the moment but you can see my thread to see how to mod the cable, its here down the page a bit, a pic of the cable showing pins to break etc http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65881&page=4
