good question! practice, practice, practice! i found out that air combat is like chess, but with a lil bit of a twist.getting into the right position and putting your target in a position where he or she has to adjust to your advantage. i find beaming and the pull and drag tech works well. to win an air to air duel don't be in love with life, but imbrace the combat and the final outcome.

Interesting topic. Keep those tips comming. I still try to understand alot of things cause most of the time i just fly on feeling and learned from trial and error.

Can i ask a cople things aswell.. Probablic an find find most answers on google. But i it might be a good idea to keep it all in this topic for the noobs like me.

Alot English words and abbreviations i still dont understand

* How to pull lag?

* What means MPRF and how do you "go MPRF"?

* How do you pull and drag?

* Beaming means going from left to right simply said right?

* How to Notch your missile? (i dont know the meaning of "notch")

Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer.

Dont mind Cali, hes weak in social skills. I hear he frequently shoots squirrels with his desert eagle. I mean that alone means hes at least insane. Nobody in their right mind would ever buy a desert eagle...

But when a person discovers what you are doing the maneuver lost more then a half of its effects. But it’s good against ARH missiles.

Of course I’ll not tell how to prevent the maneuver!!!! :smilewink:

Let you pull ahead to make a tail chase and fire as soon as you start maneuvering out of your attempted notch to try and take your shot, ofcourse flares also blitz IR's into submission, plus if you don't move out of the notch then you're going to end up full of bullet holes.:smilewink:

All this gets trickier in a hectic environment but it's even trickier for you. Notching and putting yourself in a defensive position is only good as a last resort when you've already messed up your engagement, it's a great way to force the merge but you're starting with a bad position where only a noob should fall victim to the plan.

If all else fails go for the DEAGLE everytime.

AFAIK, the PRF setting is only for the SCAN/TWS. When locked on a target, no use (except that it may help to find again the bandit if your lock breaks)

I'm sorry my friend, but you are wrong, the Rshift + I changes the frequency even with a radar lock.

I’ve made a track showing how to use the frequency change when lock a target. I forgot to put the subtitles, so I’ll put then on a .doc file.

Before learning how to do the stuff you want to learn, you will have to start learning the basics first. It's all about energy and I think, many don't even know a thing about it.
