i just brought this game and i need to know what patches do i need.there are so many of them.which one do i need or ones i need to update this game?

I would advise that you download and install the latest base version, ie 1.1.1.1.

You need to download 4 files, ie the .exe file and the 3 .BIN files. Thereafter drop all 4 files into a folder and run the .exe file to install.

Did you see this above the list of files?

 

Product files list:

All 4 files should be downloaded and put into one folder before launching setup. Filenames are of importance.

:smilewink:Hi Bee_Sting, I bought the PC DVD rom version at Best Buy. I found out what version it was by kinda following the " touble shooting wiki " inside User support - bottom of column left side - of the DCS web site. I say kinda because it instructs that the version number is displayed in Mission Editor > menu Help > About Game.

 

On my game it is found in game under Mission Editor>menu along top of window>Misc>Credits.

 

The store bought game is patched to Version 1.1.0.9.

 

Great!! I used a torrent client I downloaded and started torrent download of Version 1.1.1.1 and went to bed.

 

next day I followed instructions for Install here http://support.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ look for instalation instructions under FAQ's and guides and substitute A-10 for Black Shark 2

 

any help needed message me. I am knew at this myself

Buy the box version ..... put it away . The only thing you need from the box is the activation key number . Download the 1.1.1.1 from the site mentioned , and follow the instructions as mentioned above , namely , download all 4 patchs into 1 folder ..... run exe and enter your box key and bobs your uncle .

 

forget about patching up your hard copy , just download the whole thing . No issues .
