Yellonet Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Hey guys, Just downloaded Wags TIR5 Profile from the DCS Wiki page but it looks exactly the same as the default profile... Is this the case or am I missing something? Thanks Have you selected the profile in the drop-down list? You will have to restart the TIR program for it to detect the new profile. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
Ride Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 Yer iv selected it in the drop down, even opening it in notepad it has the same values as the default, can anyone confirm that it actually is different from the default profile?
Username455 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I can agree that it was the same as default for me as well. Which is odd since so many people rave about his profile on these forums.. maybe I found a bad link System: i7 920 @3.8ghz; GTX 560ti 448; 6gb DDR3 1600 ram; 750gb HDD; 750w PSU; Win7 64bit; x52 Pro; TrackIR 5
Yellonet Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Placebo effect :) Now I'm curious... gonna check after work. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5

Panthro Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 wonder if they changed the default profile to match Wags in a patch due to it being so good...... cant be bothered checking that one tho. :) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic86362_2.gif[/sIGPIC]
Daze Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 It looks the same to me, but works differently (I think?!?). Strange... lol [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] First to Fight, First to Strike.
Ride Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 Makes me wonder if there is a version of Wags profile out there that actually is different from the default one because I dont see how everyone could be saying the default profile is so good when its realy not... I have a profile for Rise of Flight that I have changed a little bit and its not to bad so I guess I will stick with that for now.
Ride Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 I take that back... the default profile is actually quite good if you adjust the speed a bit ;)
112th_Rossi Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I found Wags profile way too sensitive. I like quite a lot of dead zone in central positions in my TIR profile.
