Needed to vote Su-25KM "Scorpion" as while having both Su-25 planes, we really need a equivalent to A-10C in clickable cockpit and deep/complex avionics.

georgian jet su 25 km scorpion 31th factory:

If would take a fighter jet, then it would have been Mig-23MLA.

I find it sad that DCS doesn't have flyable cold war planes other than F-15C, as it is a boring one. Same can be said about Su-27 family variants or Mig-29, they just get boring as everyone does those.

Then going to even older planes like F-86/Mig-15 what as well feels little too old but still nice to have.

Mig-23 vs F-14 or F-4 or F-5 would be very interesting to see.

Just wish there would be more ground units from same era.

I completely agree. I would be SOO happy if a MiG-23MLA Module were to be created as the aircraft was not too slow and primitive but not too modern and common throughout other simulations. Plus the MiG-23 was a worthy successor to the MiG-21 due to its relatively good multirole and interception capability.

I would submit that someone (be it ED or LN) should do a MiG-23 and a MiG-27, since the Flight Model and most of the systems would be the same.

DCS: F-4E really needs to be a thing!!!!!!

Aircraft: A-10C, Ka-50, UH-1H, MiG-21, F-15C, Su-27, MiG-29, A-10A, Su-25, Su-25T, TF-51

Come on guys, Russia is famous for it's heavies and bombers. AN12, IL76, Tu95, etc. We need some of those.

I fear that there's a fighter bias in DCS. I would love a heavy bomber myself.

The idea of changing the balance of a battle by bombing supply lines and runways seems so much more appealing than dogfights. But it might never happen unless people make their voices heard. If we can have a complex, multi-seat ASM module like the Mi-8, I'm sure a bomber, at least a dual-seater like the SU-24 wouldn't be impossible.

I would love to see some heavies in DCS; however, they seem to be much more complicated and time consuming than a fighter to build, much less to actually have one player try and run a 5 man crew bomber.

I think this would be solved by 1. Improving multiplayer mechanics (so you don't have to assimilate into a clan just to play WSO) plus adding a VOIP system including intercom and direct talk

2. Decent training missions for all the non flying roles as well as a decent system to order AI about.

Once they implement shared cockpit, DCS: Il-76 has to happen.

There's something about that Navigator's station below deck that is just so damn cool.

That would be an awesome view.

Doesn't Su-33 have a in-flight refueling probe? At least it should be getting a PFM like Su-27S did.... (Mig-29 variants gets too).

Does the Su-33 currently have a PFM?

F-15C and Su-27 are first from FC3 to receive PFM. Later all FC3 planes get those too.

I'm currently having a blast with Leathernecks MiG-21Bis. I'd like to see more Russian planes from the same era as the Fishbed.

I'd like to see any of the following planes: Su-17M4, Su-17UM3, Su-17M, Su-7B, MiG-23BN, MiG-23MLD, MiG-23MF, MiG-27M, MiG-27K, MiG-25PD, MiG-25BM, MiG-25RB, MiG-17F and even less capable MiG-21's like the SMT, MF or PF.

Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills.

If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Anyone for the IL-28?

Does anyone want an IL-28? I was just thinking that it would be a cool bomber to have because it was used throughout the 20th century and also we would finally have a real bomber in DCS World! We could even have later versions that have upgrades!
