Drona Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Yeah... but it only affected the northern states. Power restored now though. BTW, blackouts in India are quite normal ;)

Strange  Wish it also affects the top government officials. Only then they will know the suffering of the common man.

Convince your top government officials to use more money on infrastructure than nuclear weapons.

I hope it doesn't affect the rest of India.... :noexpression:
Drona Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Convince your top government officials to use more money on infrastructure than nuclear weapons. Tried it already! Unfortunately it fell on deaf ears! Now that this power situation is all over the world press, (which is an embarrassment for the government) I hope they wake up and improve infrastructure...especially power and roads.
HiJack Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 It looks quite serious for all that cars. Do they make it home at all today?
Weltensegler Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I experienced ONE blackout in about 26years in Germany...then I moved to L.A and have blackouts sometimes every day. Short ones mostly but annoying. Thought I go to the country of advanced technology but I guess I watched too many movies in Germany :D or the advanced technology goes all into military...which then needs a training software and I can fly it as simulator... all good, hehe 4790K@4,6Ghz | EVGA Z97 Classified | 32GB @ 2400Mhz | Titan X hydro copper| SSD 850 PRO ____________________________________ Moments in DCS: --> https://www.youtube.com/user/weltensegLA --> WELD's cockpit: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92274
joey45 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I've only experienced 2 blackouts in about 30 yrs i here... Lasted about half an hour though. But it scared the living crap out of me. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
