I wouldn't have the patience...

Time acceleration

All we need now is a Benny Hill sound track mod. :)

(Apologies to those who have no idea I mean by that. Google Benny Hill now!)

I got it. Either that or a 1920s rag time soundtrack.

Neither one made much sense at the time.

Aye - unless you're bored :D

How on Earth could you be at 400kph at that altitude?

It was struggling to crack 200kph when I did it. In fact when I scraped to 35000ft, I lowered the flaps and slowed to about 100knots.

Not convinced that figure is in metres. Weather conditions?

400 km/h is only 215 Knots, additionally the info bar speed is TAS not IAS.

And you couldn't have been doing 200 km/h, that is well below stall speed.

Are you kidding me? :megalol:

Tada.

Yeah, but the point is to fly there and not spawn there ;)

Take you time from 30 000ft and maintain a shallow climb and you'll get there - takes a wee while though but it's good practice and in doing so you get to learn the limitations and characteristics of the airframe. Spawning up there just gives you dead engines :megalol:

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

What was mission start time? ;)

A good while before. I started at 20000ft, built up to maximum speed and then maintained a steady climb. The first time I simply climbed from low altitude.

Track? :detective:

Didn't save it. Ask 159th. Maybe he saved his.

Theoretically you can spawn at 13700m at 840kph if you want to cheat.

And the absence of contrails in your screenshot?

Rather suspicious with 0.2G, and a screenshot time of 12:00:01, with default mission starttime 12:00:00 if you ask me :music_whistling:

Merely coincidence. As is 159th's lack of a proper screenshot.;)

This is my new best:

Provide a track then ;)

Again, you are showing just after a starting waypoint, at time 12:00:03...

I'll provide one if 159th provides one.

I cannot believe you'd be calling me a liar but there it is :megalol:
