Supersheep Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 There's threads around that have like 40k+ screens. I wouldn't have the patience to motor up there at all ;) Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
MeerCaT Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I wouldn't have the patience... Time acceleration  All we need now is a Benny Hill sound track mod. :) (Apologies to those who have no idea I mean by that. Google Benny Hill now!)
ralfidude Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I've never gone beyond 460 knots, since overspeed kills your engines. As far as height, about 32K. Neither one made much sense at the time. [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]

marcos Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) Aye - unless you're bored :D (41 800+ feet) (on the way down) How on Earth could you be at 400kph at that altitude? It was struggling to crack 200kph when I did it. In fact when I scraped to 35000ft, I lowered the flaps and slowed to about 100knots. Not convinced that figure is in metres. Weather conditions? Edited September 11, 2012 by marcos
Eddie Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 400 km/h is only 215 Knots, additionally the info bar speed is TAS not IAS. And you couldn't have been doing 200 km/h, that is well below stall speed.
159th_Viper Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Not convinced that figure is in metres. Weather conditions? 159th_Viper Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Tada. Yeah, but the point is to fly there and not spawn there ;) Take you time from 30 000ft and maintain a shallow climb and you'll get there - takes a wee while though but it's good practice and in doing so you get to learn the limitations and characteristics of the airframe. Spawning up there just gives you dead engines :megalol: Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Click me to commence your Journey of Pillage and Plunder! marcos Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 Yeah, but the point is to fly there and not spawn there ;) Indeed it is.
marcos Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 What was mission start time? ;) A good while before. I started at 20000ft, built up to maximum speed and then maintained a steady climb. The first time I simply climbed from low altitude.

marcos Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 Track? :detective: Didn't save it. Ask 159th. Maybe he saved his. Theoretically you can spawn at 13700m at 840kph if you want to cheat.
MTFDarkEagle Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Rather suspicious with 0.2G, and a screenshot time of 12:00:01, with default mission starttime 12:00:00 if you ask me :music_whistling: Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread

MTFDarkEagle Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) Provide a track then ;) Again, you are showing just after a starting waypoint, at time 12:00:03... Edited September 11, 2012 by MTFDarkEagle Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
