All is fine if you are careful... It has been acknowledged by ED that the activation "bug" was a known issue and they hadn't expected it. It should have gone like any other update from the past where it wouldn't use an activation. Why are people being complete ***** about this? I had 0, repeat 0 issues and I did not deactivate first - happy now? Guess what using an activation IS NOT AN ISSUE... DCS Warthog has been available for purchase since oct '10 IIRC, so that's three times more than 8 months suggested by yourself. As Nate has said in this thread and a few others, ED is working with people that are out of activations. :doh: This also confirms that the issue exists. doveman Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Seems lessons weren't learnt from this episode as I've just uninstalled 1.2.0, installed 1.2.1 and now it's requiring me to activate again, despite the announcement post stating "A new activation will not be required unless this is the first time you have installed the product."
