SharpeXB Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I'm looking to map a controller to the propeller lever but can't find it in the settings menu. It should be called "prop pitch" or "propeller rpm" or something but I don't see any setting that matches that description. It should be in the axis or flight controls section, correct? i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

pyromaniac4002 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 You want Engine RPM Setting, or something close to that. That sounds about right. It's definitely in the Axis Assign area of the control settings.
cichlidfan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 press PgUp/Dn. that is propeller RPM control lever. You don't map that to an axis. TimmyD Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I have my flaps, prop RPM and mixture setting mapped to a throttle quadrant. Works sweet. Eight Ball Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 You don't map that to an axis. Why not ? I got the P51D yesterday and I thought it might not be a bad idea to map the RPM to my left throttle. Why shouldn't I do it ? Find The Links To All My Mods And Liveries Here (in the gallery)
SharpeXB Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 Yes. Engine RPM under the axis settings was it. I've had the mustang for months, and did exactly what you said. Map RPM to left throttle. Works perfectly... I was refering to the keyboard commands not the function itself. Mapping the keyboard commands to an axis, when an actual axis control is available would be rather silly. ;) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP!
