Sorry dude but your attitude makes you the "ban on site" poster boy, you'd best work on that.

Funny you should mention that. It happened to me on your server this mornin. The best part was after i was on fire, one of his sidewinder's had no problem finding it's target. After he took off from the TW!

There are also innocent mistakes though. Last night I flew an attack on an airfield and targetted a fueltruck with a GBU-38. At the very moment the bomb left the pylon, another player spawned right next to that very truck. Well, whatcha gonna do? Once the GBU-38 is in the air, it´s in the air. It´s not like a LGB, where you can just move the laser away.

So sure enough, the bomb killed both the truck and him. I apologized and told him what happened, and he took it like a pro.

And this is what differentiates normal folk that make mistake and those who do crap in servers ON PURPOSE. I have no issues with permanent banning on servers using UCID when someone ON PURPOSE wants to be childish and a**hole :music_whistling:

Missed this for a few days-

Tyger... I'm not proposing that we run a dictatorship- of course people make mistakes. You and I have dealt with this before- before we were able to ban by UCID (that whole thing actually got us into servman and subsequently slmod 4.2). We got to the bottom of it and moved forward...

The smacktards I'm talking about are blatant, and obvious... the guy that goes through his startup just to taxi across the airfield and ram you in your hangar, whilst having popped off his ground safety and opened fire on you.

The guy that drops all his ordinance so that he can catch up to you in an air start position and shoot both you and your wingman down with winders...

The guy that strafes you in the middle of your startup routine.

There AREN'T that many out there- and we're not that hard to find online between here and SimHQ if someone wants to come in and plead their case.

BELIEVE me- I KNOW mistakes happen... but they're a lot harder to interpret when users aren't on TS3. Whether it's the mission rules or just good sportsmanship rules... people who elect to fly without comms are running the risk of getting banned.

So for those few guys who have ever warranted being kicked... I'll show you mine if you show me yours ;)

(Needs to be past November 1... otherwise the UCIDs are different).

"ENO"

Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret.
