sorry...just needed to get a response from the source. :p Because the feature list already included improved landing dynamics.... but the beta release did not have anything better than the previous Lock on era landing model.

In fact the SFM landings have been improved, if ever so slightly. The wheels now make contact with the runway in a more smooth and realistc way. Chizh created a video comparison of this for our internal bug tracking data base. Perhaps he will place it on youtube.
