I haven't had any FFB problems (Sidewinder FFB2), even when the first 2.2.x was released. But I did have to uncheck "swap axis".

Sorry for all ya G940 fellas. Broken FFB would blow. It's kinda one of those things you get used to.

this may be a pointless suggestion, but double check your assignments in the controller section of the game Options.

I updated to the newer new version and had my Controller Assignments for my Saitek pedals all mussed up. Warthog HOTAS assignments were as they were.

Confirmed, FFB still messed up after last update. And no, no conflicts in controls assignments. But thanks for your advice anyway, Wolf Rider.

Well, another day without flying... :badmood:

I was able to solve it this way - In FFB tune I checked swap axis tickbox and I have remapped my left trim button to trim right command and the right trim button to trim left command. This way it works, try it.

This. And even if you reverse the trim buttons, your joystick will move in the right direction, but everything in the sim will be reversed (trim indicators, trim tabs, etc.). I don't know if it causes some problems, but it's absolutely not the way it should work. If I understand it correctly, your stick is sort of "fighting" the trim. So this trick might be used as temporary workaround, but it's really not ideal.

Thank you for your tip though, Dr_Arrow. Let's hope that ED will fix it soon.

Yeah, I know it is a rather brute force work-around and it doesn't solve the problem of messed up FFB trim axis, but at least it seems to work with Su-25A/T until ED is able to solve the problem, otherwise I would be also totally grounded. I hope that it is a priority issue for them and it will be repaired in the closes auto-update as it prevents black shark pilots with FFB to fly it and there the trim is crucial.

Not a pretty work around plus SU25T doesn't use trim buttons. It uses autopilot to trim instead so I'm not even sure how your workaround is "working".

I just hope ED addresses this quickly so I am not grounded!

I've never said that it is a pretty work-around. Su-25A and Su-25T for sure use trim buttons (electrically controlled trim) placed on the stick. You just can't use trim axis for those aircraft as it does not exist in real life. Autopilot utilizes trim to control the aircraft so if you select level autopilot mode and disengage it, you will get perfectly trimmed aircraft. It is normally not used for trimming it is just a side effect of a certain mode. Under normal conditions - you trim it manually and this is well simulated.

After update to 1.2.2 I have also issue with messed up forces while using trimmer, but additionally, when I am enabling GUN/PAC then joystick is pulled pretty hard (about 1/3 of axis) to the left.

That's the problem. Even when autopilot is used to level flight then disengaged, the SU25T keeps rolling left...

Have you tried contacting Logitech support? FFB works correctly with the MS Sidewinder, so i don't know how this problem is supposed to be on EDs end.

In previous versions (1.2.1) G-940 worked FFB without any problems and I haven't updated anything on it, so I suppose that it is a problem on EDs end. Moreover I don't have such problem in any other sim I currently fly (Il-2, FSX, Falcon BMS, Strike Fighters).

I turned off FFB in the options tab and can fly the shark that way.

Yeah, that would work. But it's another not-so-pretty fix of last resort. Flying with FFB off entirely defeats the purpose of having a FFB stick. It removes all of the G940's advantages and retains only its flaws.

Exactly that. G940 worked not only in all previous DCSW versions, but even in previous standalone ED's products, and suddenly stopped working in the moment of 1.2.2 update. Coincidence? I think not.

Moreover, it still works well in other games at the same time, and no one of the users reported that he / she has made any changes in settings or installed driver updates recently.

It's ED who broke it. No question.
