Bijt-ijs Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 Welcome :) We need a list of your detailed PC/system - specifications. Well, i dont really know a lot about this pc, since it is just a home pc, not gaming. It is running vista. intel core duo @2.33GHz 2 gb ram thats about it, hope you can do something with this. Btw, when i start the game, it sometimes says: Sorry, only one instance allowed.
159th_Viper Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 32-bit or 64-bit OS? Graphics card? At first glance it appears that your system might not meet the requirements to run the SIM properly. Not the news you want to hear no doubt but maybe we can make it work somehow - just need the extra info. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? In the search box type 'dxdiag' and hit enter. A system box will pop up. On the top you will see a 'display' tab. Click on that and it will tell you. 159th_Viper Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 OK, first things first: You have a 32-bit system with a very low amount of RAM. In order to see if we can jump-start your PC and as a result, the SIM, try the following 32-bit workaround by Mustang and see if it helps in order to at least start up the SIM: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1084420&postcount=8 Let us know. 159th_Viper Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I'll attempt to get Mustang's attention over here - when it comes to this PC-tech stuff I'm useless I'm afraid :) Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? I've got the bcdedit to work, the sim loads now after clicking fly but freezes :L guess my system just cant handle it...

Bijt-ijs Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 Go into the options and turn everything to Low for starters. The sim is working!! but framerate is LOW, any more tips or tricks? (graphics or on low)
Eight Ball Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) I think there isn't much to do except upgrading your computer :( Your graphic card is outdated, your CPU is barely powerful enough and you don't have enough RAM And on top of that Windows Vista isn't really the best operating system when it comes to gaming (or anything else actually) Edited December 3, 2012 by Eight Ball Find The Links To All My Mods And Liveries Here (in the gallery)
Lange_666 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 ED's minimum system requirements to run DCS World (honestly, even with their recommended requirements you have to run it on low settings and even then it may run like shit): Operating system: Windows XP, Vista or 7; Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz; Memory: 3 GB; Free hard disk space: 7 GB; Video: 512 MB RAM card, DirectX 9 - compatible; Sound: DirectX 9.0c - compatible; requires internet activation. You match the "minimum" requirements for the OS (Windows Vista) and the CPU but your system is below the "minimum" requirements for RAM (2GB instead of 3) and video RAM (yours is 256MB instead of the required 512MB). So i think Eight Ball from Bubbelgium has some sort of point... Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
