Fwiw, I have both a 7.5cm and 10cm extension, having bought the 7.5 first (from zahry, btw). My advice is to choose the longest you can get away with. If your mount will allow 12.5 then do it. Ten was as long as I could go without redesigning my stick mount.

Wrong person / thread - comment for sahaj and his mates - please show little bit of dignity and and respect and start your own thread. It's feels bit desperate how you try to shove your way in ... anyways - good luck and if somebody breaks their warthog with this extension send me a PM and I'll send you illustrated guide how to fix it and how to recalibrate the firmware after the repair.

You should rename the thread if it is yours. I didn't even read the posts I just searched the forum for "Thrustmaster Extension". I am not dissing you or anyone here.

Are these still being made? And if so what is a link? I tried one a few pages back but I get a 404.

Yes, I should have a 12.5cm unit in a few days.

How do you break your stick with one of Sahaj's extensions? I have one, I'm curious.

Zahry when will the curved shaft be ready for sale. I am interested. I have the straight already but prefer the curved for my needs.

Remove joystick extension with care!

I managed to kill my TM Warthog joystick base today. What happened:

I had assembled my table mounts from Monstertech and with the ability to adjust the joystick's vertical position I thought I'd try without the MFG extension. I tried to unscrew it from the base but it won't turn. So I tried a bit harder... I shouldn't have because the base could not take the torque. It's dead.

It seems that there is a bit of a "stiction" phenomenon between the aluminium extension and the plastic thread of the base.

What I should have done: hold the "neck" of the plastic gimbal with pliers (Rohrzange) while I unscrewed the extension. That was actually the only way I could remove the extension in the end.

I would also recommend that method for screwing the extension on, because the gimbal cannot take torsion.

Could be just cables that got cut. Take a close look.
