WildBillKelsoe Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Shore 5. 2 103's carried, one pickled, other aborted. DMS left short = ACK. Now on DSMS, 103 sez 'aborted' and on HUD, 103 profile sez 'chk stat'. I check status page and WCMD all green. I press WS CHK, TEST, PWR ON/OFF, nothing.... What is going on? how can I correct? URGENT!! Thanks! AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. FreeFall Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 At least with JDAMs (like GBU-38 ), if aborted, you cannot clear it yourself. However, you can jettison it. I am not sure if it is the same thing with 103's? Maybe?

Jona33 Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Within 15 seconds of aborted release you can drop it again, after that tough. RTB and get the ground crew to sort it out. And get them to bring you a cup of tea; after all. I'M A PILOT AND I ONLY CARE ABOUT MYSELF. :D Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

degoe Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 You can (selective)jettison it while armed but it will generally be an cbu 87 then. Also you wont get the ccip info on the hud to help you place it. Anybody know how to get ccip on the hud while jettisonning?
