Shore 5. 2 103's carried, one pickled, other aborted. DMS left short = ACK.

 

Now on DSMS, 103 sez 'aborted' and on HUD, 103 profile sez 'chk stat'.

 

I check status page and WCMD all green. I press WS CHK, TEST, PWR ON/OFF, nothing....

 

What is going on? how can I correct?

At least with JDAMs (like GBU-38 ), if aborted, you cannot clear it yourself. However, you can jettison it.

 

I am not sure if it is the same thing with 103's? Maybe?

You have a 15-second mulligan. After that all you have is a potentially explosive paperweight.

OK, so withing 15 seconds of aborted release, what to DO? And WTH is a mulligan?

BTW - A "Mulligan" is a golf term for a "do over" without penalty.

You can (selective)jettison it while armed but it will generally be an cbu 87 then.

Also you wont get the ccip info on the hud to help you place it.

Anybody know how to get ccip on the hud while jettisonning?

Not possible. However, one can refrain from 'pressing the tit' in the midst of excitement and direct wingman to use his.
