silentbob11 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 since the FC3 F-15c "bear trap" campaign is still broken and AIM-120'c can't heat fish in a barrell now - is there a way I can roll back to the 1.2.2 version from 1.2.3? ED Team c0ff Posted March 2, 2013 ED Team Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) It depends. If you have Ka-50 module which is an upgrade from BS1, then NO. If you don't have Ka-50 module, or your Ka-50 is a full version (NOT an upgrade from BS1), then YES. Command line: dcs_updater.exe update :1.2.2 Not that this mode is heavily tested, but it should work. In worst case you'll have to reinstall DCS. EDIT: Ka-50 upgrade issue is related to underlying changes in update system between the 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 versions. Edited March 2, 2013 by c0ff Dmitry S. Was looking forward to it... 1.2.2 mission 2 was broken from the get go, but so far seems ok, curious on what mission you are at? TulsA-10 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Your going to have to have the full install of 1.2.2 to do "Roll Back". I always keep the full install. I always keep two versions incase the 'Update" is crap. " I'm gonna have to be taking your car today. silentbob11 Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 I dont have BS installed and to be honest FC3 althogh its supposed to be a beta and All is a HUGE dissapointement to me. Porked missions, useless missiles and awkward cockpit. As for the invinsable misdion: it's the one where you need to do a fighter sweep in order to clear the path for a couple of F-15E's flights tasked to Kill some command centers beetween Na'lchik and Mozdok. The strikets never strike or hit their targets and quickly pull back home fully loaded or after dropping one bomb at the most (and missing) SB11 CPU: intel Core i7 9700K ~ 3.6 GHZ , nVidia RTX2060 SUPER, 32GB 3300 Mhz RAM, DELL 24" LED. Dejjvid Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Awesome tip c0ff, wonder if :1.2.4 works as well? ;) It's funny when people pre-purchase a game, get access to the BETA and then whine like they got a porked release version. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
