Thick8 Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Let's see. I have $1000 in monitors. $2000 in a computer. $700 in controllers. Really, what's another $6000 for a complete cockpit? I'm in. Give me the frame dimensions so I can build it and I'll buy 1 or 2 panels at a time. Vote with your feet if you dont approve...laters you rip off. (joke) Agreed whole heartily Mr Burns. However its the wife right upper cut I'm more worried about, if she gets to the postman before I do :music_whistling: I've just looked at the UK tax 2.7% import and 20% VAT on top.. Ooooch. Maybe one day Frank could supply in kit form to get the price down. Vote with your feet if you dont approve...laters you rip off. (joke) No, this is not thread on cockpit building. This is a thread where Frank presents progress of his product development without answering any methodology questions (as he spent a lot of time developing it) nor addressing any questions about features or readily identifiable flaws of his product (as minute or as important as they might be ). Agreed whole heartily Mr Burns. However its the wife right upper cut I'm more worried about, if she gets to the postman before I do :music_whistling: I've just looked at the UK tax 2.7% import and 20% VAT on top.. Ooooch. : That us easily solvable. Request the sender to put "gift" or "commercial sample" in customs form and to declare value as just bill of materials .unless I under estimate UK gov I doubt you will be charged charged customs for ~100$ of a package (even Russians have threshold of 300 or so). Gremlin77 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 hm, I think this is franks thread, so frank can write in here whatever he wants..... If someone doesn't like it, he shouldn't read it.....just as simple In my opinion it's a good idea he has building up some kind of "professional" stuff for people wanting to have a pit but don't have the time to build one. So they can change time with money. Not the worst way... So, I will continue to read this thread, and as all of us know, pictures say more than thousand words. Go on Frank, make your way! visit my build thread Gremlin's A-10  http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=86916

And yes having option to purchase such products is good for everyone from every which way including the small builders . What would have been even better though is if the professional was straightforward and conduct himself professionally. Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project

Wait wait wait, your telling him he's not acting professionally, one breath after you tell him he should commit fraud and customs violations by marking things as a gift being sent overseas? As a former customs agent, thats a violation thats technically worth 10's of thousands of dollars in fines. OpenHornet F/A-18C 1:1 SimPit Website :: DCS Thread Link :: Discord :: Github ::
