Thanks all. I actually have access to the latest specs from work (IHS) without resorting to outdated specs in EverySpec. (

The spec mentioned above was canceled on 1995.12.05 )

Working in an engineering department in the aerospace/defense industry is nice sometimes. :smilewink:

So then your looking for the Knob list or the knobs NSN to purchase real knobs or your just looking for the spec to build your own? I am just a bit confused why your asking when it appears you have access to better information thanks most. If you just would like to purchase a complete set of A-10C replica knobs just pm me.

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Look to tell you the truth most of the knobs are not marked with a part number or a NSN one of the reasons i made copies of my knobs available. You did not answer any of my questions though.

The real knobs aren't marked per the specs. I'm looking to build my own - I'm still working on the FA18 pit, but I can be flying an A-10 until the -18 software is released.

I'm big on building it myself.

You must not be familiar with the knobs some are marked with their MS number that is relatd to the Spec good luck on your scearch

As I said, per the specs (NASM) I've found so far, part marking is not identified on the spec. So it is optional to the vendor, unless they are required to under MIL-STD-130 (depending on the vendor). :smilewink:

I've modelled up all the left and right console knobs, based on the respective MS and NASM specs.

One perk of 3D printing these is I can adjust the internals as approprate based on the electronics backing it.

The only one I'm having a heck of a time with is the TACAN Mode knob. Can't seem to find it anywhere.

Does anyone have any good information on it?
