I recommend running the "DCS Repair" option before a full uninstall and reinstall. I had this problem when I updated to 1.2.4 because I decided to throw all my mods back in before checking compatibility. It turns out that the server.lua and view.lua files have changed in 1.2.4 for the new 6DOF cockpits, and I had overwritten them with obsolete data that caused the HUDs to get all funky just like in your screenshot. When I ran a repair, it fixed the issue. Try it and see if it does the same for you.

This problem is there because of old missionfile. Inside the old version there is config and view folders that need to be deleted. Unpack mission with 7zip and delete the folders and repack the mission file to solve problem.

You should also be able to simply open the mission in the mission editor, and then save it again.

That will not solve this problem.

I did a repair and it worked fine. I think it was PeterP's proper neck angle mod that messed it up..Too bad, like that mod, hope it gets fixed for 1.2.4 if it actually was the issue.

I had to use this on my local client, I spent 2 hours fiddling about with this on release night

This was the problem we had with the Virtual Aerobatics server, deleting the config folder from within the mission solved it for our pilots

That will not solve this problem.

Yep it also does this with older track files :(

I had the same problem with F-15C, SU-27 and UH-1H >only< when playing on the Virtual Aerobatics server a few days ago. It magically disappeared yesterday though. Now everything is fine.

Thanks HiJack, since I do not use any mods I will assume this is the problem. Thank you for the reply and the fix as I would have never guessed to do this. I have confirmed this works perfectly!

Thank you once again!

Did this only affect the Flaming Cliffs 3 planes? Because I had not noticed this in my A10c or my BS2 cockpits.
