doright Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 The skids grinding on concrete should be much louder. Right now if you really pay attention you can hear a slight noise doing a run on at 40+ kts.

joey45 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Find the file > open it up in an audio editor > make it louder > save it. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. drummer Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I think this should be a much louder sound, especially in a running landing or autorotation
TurboHog Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Find the file > open it up in an audio editor > make it louder > save it. Find the corresponding .sdef file and increase the gain setting. Much cleaner. 'Frett'
Krebs20 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Find the corresponding .sdef file and increase the gain setting. Much cleaner. Any tips for the computer handy capped? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
TurboHog Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Any tips for the computer handy capped? Search for the name of the .wav file in the DCS World\Sound folder. Then open the file with the .sdef extension and edit it. 'Frett'

Indeed, if the wav file is properly normalized and you make it louder, it will start to clip. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
