The skids grinding on concrete should be much louder. Right now if you really pay attention you can hear a slight noise doing a run on at 40+ kts.

Find the file > open it up in an audio editor > make it louder > save it.

Search for the name of the .wav file in the DCS World\Sound folder. Then open the file with the .sdef extension and edit it.

Indeed, if the wav file is properly normalized and you make it louder, it will start to clip.
