Marines CH-47

Here is a set of my first skins. Three CH-47,s in Marines. Numbers 04 and 05 are US. Number 12 is UK. I did one in UK for different voice. Enjoy.

I was under the impression that the Marines used the Navy CH-46 aircraft and not the USA Ch-47D.

 

Good job on the skin but I have never seen a Marine bird that clean :)

The Marine Corps uses the CH-46 not the 47 and HMM-261 is now an Osprey squadron. Looks great tho!!

yea that 46 is smaller, but its not in the game so great show of support for the Jar heads. :thumbup:

I saw this 1/48 scale model and went for it. Still learning how to weather in Photo plus. Any tips on weathering Ill take them.

Of interest - The UK flies RAF Chinooks off HMS Ocean, an LPH, they cannot be stored below decks without removing the rotors but it standard practice to deploy them with the ship when needed.

Well I figure that if DCS world was like real life every time i dropped a bomb every thing would slow down to 10 FSP. IMOP.
