Mustang Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 kevlon, if you were in the same situation as Ice was in and your shot missed the same way i think you'd be pretty annoyed too, i've seen the track and it seems to me that it was just your aircraft that was warping (packet loss maybe) and get this, i engaged a 29 in the same mission and this one bandit every now and then flickered around on my MFD and kept warping off into the distance, and i had a ping of 25ms, wonder if that was you?

Was some pretty good flying if i say so myself. Never mind that...since then his kill scores have been "updated" LOL Crap happens. I already had over 50 kills and 14 losses when the count became public.I had a few bad sessions with suicidal tactics, its all it takes to ruin your whole score. Ill have a hard time climbing the ladder with such stabilized score. But Ill make it. Warping is a rare freak accident and it shouldnt mess your score if you make for it in the following seessions. rembener that everyone else with good scores but with little kills will most likely go down that aldder once they participate more. There are alot of people who have unjustifyed scores, for the better and for the worse. :) .

Was some pretty good flying if i say so myself. For some reason its aparent that there were severe lagging problems with that server (whatever it was). One of the migs just vanishes shortly after take off, and all fighters apear to be jerky now and then. I cant say It was anyones fault realy. I guess you need a litle pacience with this. .

This kind of warp and miss inciddent happens probally every 5 mins in HL, so who cares ? How can Kevlon fix packet loss ? It could be his modem his ISP's cables his mobile may have rung just as the missle was fired...interfering with the connection !!?? Who knows who cares !! Its a game and no one really died, ICE's "rep" is still intact last i checked the "504 Rep Status System" (j/k we dont really have one) and Kev is still "Norwegian House Paint Champion 2005". Lets forget about it because im bored of hearing about it, going on about it brings bad vibes and flame wars over the stupidest thing. We play on line over networks of varying questionable quality from one side of the earth to another, you HAVE to expect this sort of things to happen deal with it or find a LAN only squadron. Wolf you just lost some points in my consideration...ROFL We are virtual fighter pilots and as such sometimes there are virtual Egos bruised a bit but far from a flame war.
