Can you give you system specs, OS, what you were doing when the crash occurred? Standard or Steam version?

Intel I5-2500k @ 4 GHz

16 GB ram

NVidia gtx 580

Win7 x64

standard version (I think; it doesn't try to start steam when playing. I think I bought the code for A10-C from steam though, but started with a standalone disc install)

I'd clicked on "training" and "landing", and it was preparing the module. No graphics had yet appeared on screen

You have eds MP logbook? If you have, Thats the problem

Sorry - if that's for me I don't understand :(. I've not really got properly into A10-C yet. But I've not installed any add-ons that I can remember (extra screens, consoles, buttons etc.)

Is there a way to swap back to standard config / ini files? Although it ran fine before the update, maybe it doesn't like something in mine?

  • 3 weeks later...

Has anyone resolved this issue without a reinstall? I have exactly the same problem. This only occurs in A10 in Game Mode. If I have in uninstall, what is the proper procedure (I have DCS, A10, and Huey). Do I have to deactivate first? Quite honestly, I was only able to "muddle through" the initial install.

Sorry, I'm just new to DCS.

1.2.6. has left some with no choice but to install an earlier ver. so they can continue to flying, until the bugs are worked out of course.

I have 2ver. of the Simulator on my machine for this reason. I like the mission

created by the us users so I still have the 1.1.1.1ver. on my system in order to

play them.

Most people with TrackerIr have gone back to a later ver. due to the stutters when fly with it on.

Your issue could be worked out though. You were running fine until this update? C++ is installed? (latest ver.) and your desktop and sim. resolution are set to the same size?
