Bugs bugs and more bugs!

I write this because I'm tired to fly the A-10C and see bugs and problems ... In the squad E69 we are really disappointed with "ED" because after TWO YEARS! We kept flying betas and more betas and see how instead of going forward we go back, someday fix the bugs? Really have you abandoned the development of a-10c?

I understand you're doing more products and developing DCS: world but should solve the problems of the first modules before proceeding.

Great work from your part but Bad news, I don't know for all the users of DCS's products but the A-10C is the module TO HAVE...

Everywhere on the Web we can seen this module, for me is the brand of ED but have all these bugs (little or not) is not good of all.

I hope that ED will be fix all these bugs because the A-10C is the hardcore's simulator and now it's not too good for the business, our business and our passion.

This module is for me the MUST, with this module I've discovered all the products of DCS, without the A-10C I never bought all her modules and enter in the DCS's world.

I hope that ED goes quickly fix all these bugs....

We can admit the bugs of Huey and Mi-8 because they are Open Beta but for the A-10C and KA-50 it's a big big problem...

 

One thing that I can't understand, if the A-10C meet a new bugs with the 1.2.6 I can admit this problem. But that all old bugs are still present and not fixed there I cannot understand.

Don't forget the sticky brakes problem in old bugs. I still have to keep my axis curves and saturation set to high levels to keep from being forced off the runway by one brake or the other sticking at half when released.

I think he's more concerned with them being fixed. I'm sure ED knows about most if not all of them.

Fair enough, but this thread isnt very productive, it would be better to bump each individual thread, add a new track in the newest version to show its either not working or not changed, or ask for input there.

As you say most are reported. But reported does not mean fixed.

The users loyal to ED that we fly the A-10C from beta1 and we paid $ 60 we want the bugs are fixed. I'm sure most users would be much happier if you dedicate a patch to fix bugs and only errors without adding new bugs of course. Even pay for this :lol:

I think we need a thread like this with ALL known bugs& a link to their respective threads. Maybe a status if ED is working on a fix/aware or better if the bug is even confirmed and of course version numbers! :)

 

If there is such a "known issues" list I apologize for not finding it. :D

 

The forum is cluttered like nothing else, I am on many forums and nowhere is chaos like here. Finding something you are looking for is often a chore, and something like this, that is kept up to date would be wonderful to navigate through the problems that each patch can bring.

 

But of course those things should be kept on topic and not mixed up with "I paid x$ - FIX IT NAO!"-whine. :)

People need to search the forum better, obviously the OP was able to find all these issues and post the links here. If people took the time to do the same it wouldnt be so cluttered, also if you look at some of those threads, a Tester has commented on the issue.

I'm not saying that some things dont slip through the cracks, they do, but its not as black and white as you think. If you think the person working on effects is necessarily the same guy that is to fix an A-10C avionics bug, then you are over simplifying the problem.

Again, you are over simplifying the issue, I dont know the structure of ED and its employees, do you think they have 1 person who is tasked with A-10 avionics and right now he is sitting at his desk playing Candy Crush? There are many factors involved in things this complex, I am not saying this is the answer to all outstanding bugs, but its part of the bigger picture.

 

Also note, you calling people Fanboys and such, gets you ignored alot faster too... just as a personal note to yourself.

Perhaps it has been suggested many times before, but at the risk of being redundant, a simple suggestion. For each module, beta or non beta, there should be an official list of bugs reported and the status of bug....i.e., bug validated, fix planned, fix pending, fixed, date fixed etc.

 

A simple Excel sheet should be maintained and be updated by the developers and posted in the respective forum section, including the DCS world section for bugs common to the "world" environment.

 

It is up to ED, as to how to administer this, -but having this simple kind of Bug Status Report would help all the dedicated users who are concerned about the improvement they reasonably expect to see over time.
