It looks like something I'd expect when a Tomcat screwed an Alphajet.

My thoughts exactly.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Wow ambitions to replace both the A-10C and the F-15C? That´s really ambitious goals...

I can only believe it will stretch as far as a competitor in the T-X programme on the US-market. But for south-east Asia and South America - I think the chances are better. The world needs more cheap and basic multi-role capability fighters indeed - instead of the over-hyped F-35 Project.

One thing that I can't get over is the fact that they didn't mold the engine nacelles to the wing. Theres this little crevice that the air can squeeze through. Interference drag. Maybe it's there on purpose?

Out walking my dogs today, heard a low level jet. So i look up and see a plane I've never seen before. No idea what it was.

I noted down the time, so when I got home, I went to Flightradar24.com and put in the date and time. Hey presto, it was a Scorpion! Registration number N531TA

I remember reading this thread a while back, so I thought I'd share it with you. The attachment shows that it took off from MOD Boscome Down, flew up to Snowdonia in North Wales to fly around the valleys and then back down, eventually landing at Fairford for the International Air Tattoo this weekend. So I will see it again on Saturday lol.

I live in Ludlow, Shropshire (can be seen just above Hereford where the flight plan criss crosses itself).

I did post of another sighting, in another thread, about how I saw a B-52 low and slow over Ludlow when I was again out walking my dogs. Didn't need flightradar24 to identify that one!

Regards,

Milli
