MACADEMIC Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Hey all, Total funding now is at about $144.000 with 24 hours left, very close to the first stretch goal of $150.000 which will give all backers who back $40 or more an additional flyable, the Me-262. In all likeliness the stretch goal will be reached. You can still up your pledge to at least $40 and receive the Me-262. Would be a pity to miss out on it. MAC [VV]75431503[/VV]

It was reported that in the last months, the German jets were hidden in the woods. To save gas, the ground crews used cows to tow them to the runway for takeoff. Gooseneck Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 :D I don't mind being towed by cows. In fact, I've been 'toe'd' by cows on occasions. Usually when taking a short cut home from the pub. At first, they run away, but then when they realise you're no threat, they come and crowd you and stand on your toes, which hurts. Then they dump in exactly the direction you need to go, thus ruining your shoes. Very clever animals cows. It's no small wonder they allowed them to tow Me262s. I wouldn't trust them to humans. ;)

Pizzicato Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Update from Ilya Wellllll PayPal, $4,274.20 Kickstarter, $146,673 Grand total: $150,947.20 Let's not rest on our laurels yet! We have 18 hours to go. And please, whatever you do, don't cancel your pledges just because you think we've reached our goal! I am still very concerned about some pledges that will have their credit cards declined. If we're a little over, that's great! None of that will go to waste. Depending on the additional sum, it'll be a new building or a new tank or a new ship or a new single-player campaign. We're a little under? That'll mean one less building or one less tank or one less ship. Still gentlemen, congratulation! grifo Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie: I'm sorry, but I need a clarification PLEASE: I own yet DCS- P51 and I've backed $30. As stated here $30: FIVE aircraft (P-47, Spitfire, Bf.109, plus two more of your choice) I assume that I can have P-47, Spitfire, Bf.109, DCS: FW-190 and RRG ME-262 Am I correct or I need to pledge more for 262? Thank you

Thank you Grifo, If you check the Kickstarter description, the list of 'Flyable Aircraft' does not contain the Me-262, it is listed under 'Non-Flyable Aircraft'. The 252 is a stretch goal aircraft. If you pledge $40 or more, you'll have all aircraft including the ones from stretchgoals. So my opinion is, best be safe and chip in another $10. Cheers, MAC
IonicRipper Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Actually if you scroll up a bit you can see Ilya confirmed the Me262 will be flyable. i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
grifo Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Ok, I think I definitely need a "DCS:WWII Kickstarter for dummies" manual  Thanks for replies! Any other opinion?
Gooseneck Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Any other opinion? Yah. As long as you pledge over $40, you will have all flyable planes on release. That's 'ALL' flyable planes, including the 262. For $40.

OK but i don't need ALL planes, since i have yet the P-51. It is stated that with $30 I can have two flyable planes, so why I can't choose FW 190 and Me 262 (assuming the goal will be reached?) What would be for me the difference by pledging $20 or $30?

Neither do I need all the planes. I also have the P-51 already. That's not really the point. If you put in $40 or more, you get them all. Including the 262 and P-47, done to the same standard as the P-51 you already have. As Royraiden said in another forum, '6 DCS planes for $40. It's a no-brainer'.
Altflieger Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Tommy we did it a while back, Paypal was over $4000 last time I looked.
