Not at this time. Our primary WWII Warbirds focus is on improving the current stable.

Also, locating needed performance data on the P-47 has been a nightmare.

When we have new information on the P-47, it will be posted.

Thanks

Thank you.

I saw the picture of the wip P47 cockpit with your newsletter this weekend.

It looks so good:thumbup:.

I wonder that they don´t see the wrong instrument letters. They are using a wrong font partially.

Compare the wip screenshot with an original p47 cockpit photo and you´ll see it.

Keep your eye on the "1-4" and "6". For example:the "2" should be curved. The "1" should just be straight.

The same mistake happens with the P51D. Funny, because you see the correct letters on a original cockpit photo in the dcs manual-Page 53,

and the sim picture shows a wrong letter font-Page 61 (MPH and Altitude Meter).

The same in the FW190D9 with deutsche normschrift/german standard letters.

Will they pay attention this time with the p47?:)

Wow, very interesting observation there Pato.

Would you be kind enough to share your reference for the correct lettering? Where is it wrong?

Hey no problem, i´ll be kind enough to google "P-47D Cockpit" for you. :smilewink:

Thank you for the frivolous google search. Not the best examples to support your argument on the 1-4 and 6 etc that ED got wrong according to what YOU see what-ever that is. Just as well they are not using your examples to back up your statement as reference.

It is a shame really as I thought you had some bona-fide reference that is actual circa 1944 for the D to back up your statement that you might have shared.

No matter. I think ED are getting it right.

Using philips head screws for the bezel mounts and aged radium is another matter for discussion. But it is a work in progress :smilewink:

Man, that's pretty messed up. I doubt most of the actual pilots enjoyed killing horses...

That's exactly right pardner. A read of Hellhawks will tell you just that, most hated it but understood they were part of the war effort at this point. Some even refused to do it. A lot of pilots were country boys, grew up on farms, so it's easy to see why they would be unhappy with having to blast farm animals.

On another note, I thought we were getting the D-25? Is it the -30 now?

D-28 was the first planed during Kickstarer, as i remember.

But D-30 is planed now, probably since ED took over WWII project, IMO D-30 is better choice.

Don't forget that the highest scoring US ace over Europe earned all of his kills in a Jug - Francis Gabreski

You can read more about him and some others on the skins page I brought back to life for the Jug.

I've already paid for it and the wait is killing me! But I know that once it falls out of the ethernet, it will have been well worth the wait and all will be right with the world.
