westr Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Indeed Mig-23 and the one on the right would appear to be a two seat Mig-23 interesting.... will- Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 I always see these jets at my local airport. Unmarked as far as I can tell driving by. Intel i9-9900K 32GB DDR4, RTX 2080tiftw3, Windows 10, 1tb 970 M2, TM Warthog, 4k 144hz HDR g-sync.
Mainstay Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I always see these jets at my local airport. Unmarked as far as I can tell driving by. I dont know where you from but many Mig23's are being bought by civilians and private collectors companies etc. Stripped from radar and wp systems off course. Former Soviet pact nations are getting money for planes that are otherwise scrapped so win win
Mainstay Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Mig 27 perhaps No they dont have the ducknose. My guess is a Mig23MF on the left and a Mig23UB on the right. Probably ex Polish, Chezch or Bulgarian airforce

Vampyre Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 The 2 MiG-23’s in Sarasota, Florida are N223ML and N23UB, and were bought by Doug Morgan from the former Czechoslovakia several years ago and shipped to the U.S. for restoration and are evidently for sale. MiG-23ML and MiG-23UB. http://www.controller.com/list/list.aspx?ETID=1&Mdltxt=MIG+23&Manu=MIKOYAN&mdlx=contains&bcatid=13&Pref=0 Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills. If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! "If at first you don't succeed, Carrier Landings are not for you!"
