Adding 3rd party objects into base install

I wonder if ED would want to add popular 3rd party objects into the base install someday? For example the Pechora SAM battery:

That is if the respective owners do not disagree.

 

The planned 1.2.7 update includes an Israeli P-51D skin made by Mario “Markindel”, so why not broaden the scope and utilize the community's efforts for a better DCSW?

I hope that also the 3rd parties modules will be part of the DCSW installation. if not, there will be a big mess.

I think it is just up to those mod creators to approach the higher ups at ED and request to have them added. Thats all I did for the Canadian A-10C skins.

Actually, I believe ED technically owns the rights to any mods created for the sim and they certainly do if they were posted on ED's User Files.

I still dont know that that gives them right to just publish them with their releases, at the very least common courtesy would be to ask :)
