Hello, i have the Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick, which includes a small throttle, when i am doing all the procedures for the cold start on the A10 and i reach the point were i have to move only 1 throttle from OFF to IDLE to start the engine , as i only have 1 throttle lever which actuates on both ingame throttles, the ingame throttle doesnt respond when i push the lever. It never moves from the OFF position. (is there a key to move it to IDLE? or another way?)

Whenever i have done training missions and have started with the A10C in mid air, my throttle Works perfectly.

thanks in advance.

Yeah, like Vize says, my joystick throttle doesn't work for startup at all, so I have to do it using the keyboard. Then to work the throttles seperately, use the +/- throttle keys. After you get it all started up, then you can go back to your "single" joystick throttle, which will move them both at once.

Thanks Vize and Dr.Yes. I was looking for the keys that would do that but never found them! Ill try with those.

it's "AltGr+Home" for left engine and "rCtrl+Home" for right engine.

I believe the term "AltGr" is country/language specific and may not be obvious with other keyboards.

The safest way is to look at Options -> Controls -> A-10C Sim -> Systems -> Engine Start Left and Engine Start Right, respectively (and Engine Stop Left/Right for engine shutdown) (and it's the same for A-10C Game).

I hope this doesn't add another layer of confusion, just trying to clarify things. :)

Can you assign a modifier so the throttle works for both engines. Such as engine 1 Slider 1 or whatever the ID is for that axis +Left Cntl and Slider 1 and right Cntl for engine 2

Moving a throttle from cutoff position to idle in order to start the aircraft is always done with alt/Gr / ctrl + home, assigning an axis for this is not possible. Moving both throttles (idle and above) can be done with setting the "slider 1" or whatever you want to the axis "both throttles".
