DonLduk Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) Deadman's are a success (from pictures i've found). Is there an alternative to order? Here is something that might work: http://www.amazon.com/Hireko-Warthog-Driver-Headcover/dp/B00A6UKPN6/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1390182347&sr=8-8&keywords=warthog+cover Edited January 20, 2014 by DonLduk
Deadman Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 you have just scared me for life with the mental picture of where that still will be placed and what may happen if you sit down before you pull him off the stick LMAO https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Deadman Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Min run on covers has all ways been 25 units I don't have the embroidery machine any more. Seil Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 If someone's making a run at these, I'm in. I would probably get 2 or 3 sets actually. (for other guys I fly with) -Seil WotG Founder & A10C Lead
jay43 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I can get these done by a clothing factory out of india for very cheap and very good quality, basically the wife works for FCUK head of mens wear production she is on very good terms with the factories and just to win large orders she can bribe them with a run of these even a small run but not to small. I was going to start this off last year but didn't seem to be much interest plus i don't want to steal away work from anyone else. If no one has any objections i can ask her to contact the factory and get some sort price point for you all. The beauty of using a factory is they could spin off 1000 of these in less than a day, all factories are ethically approved so no kids making these. Deadman PM me if you don't mind. I am not interested in making lots off money just some bear money for flying LOL and to cover costs shipping FOB and taxes door to will all be factored in to the price. Could even do some screen covers for helios users been thinking about that myself plus keyboard covers to nice to keep the dust out of everything, track ir, mfcd's, pedals etc etc. If anyone is interested PM me with numbers and if Deadman is ok for me to go ahead i will get the ball rolling. jay43 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Ok guys quick re-cap had long chat with the misses about these and with Deadmans permission she can run off anything you want. Screen covers Keyboard covers Pedals Whatever stick you have doesn't have to be the awesome TMWH stick can be any (although you will need to help with measurements on sticks as the only 2 i have are x52pro and the obvious one) Seat covers Track ir Mfcd And for the pit builders complete cockpit covers ( mearsurements supplied by you the end user) Did i miss anything. The factories can ship to anywhere in the world via DHL door to door and especially for the UK she can get round customs duties to. So once Deadman replies she will get some measurements together and get some salesman samples run off for viewing. All will come with the much loved Remove Before Flight embroidered tags. Mnemonic Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Wow, if this is true I would order some, for Warthog with throttle, for Cougar, for MFCDs and TrackIr would be nice too
cichlidfan Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Yes, I might have a few for the list as well. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Grim_Smiles Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I would definitely be interested in a Warthog joystick and throttle cover. If a TrackIR cover is possible that would interest me as well. jay43 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) She is getting all excited now and has said she will do what ever colours you want fabrics camo nationality flag embroidered on even pink if you so desire if theres any ladies here. Digital camo sounds nice to me. So its over to Deaman for his approval. Tags she did say to keep costs down these can be just printed which i see no problem with as the real ones are printed but i will leave that option to the end user, even your name if you so desire. Deadman Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 jay43 Thanks or asking. As long as it your design and does not look like a copy of my work you have my blessing good luck and I hope you have a great run. I really don't have the time for them all the best . https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
DonLduk Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 wow I never thought I would restart the TMWH covers for real. Im sure there is a new generation of HOTAS owners that are leaving their expensive equipment out in the forest.
Deadman Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Don it appears that your new to the forms so let me give you a little advice. I hope I don't sound harsh and i do apologize if i do. Nothing is started until it is being sold and nothing is purchase until the PayPal transfer is complete. During the time I have sold items here on the form I am pretty sure the covers started the for sale thread. Many have offer to sell items a few have started and most have closed with only a few sales or never produced items . May be 25 percent of the people that have asked me to produce an item have punctually purchased it. It can be a very frustrating place to do business. All the best to whom ever starts making covers all I ask isthat you don't copy my design or presentation thansk DM https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
