danilop Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Useful yes, but implementation is very unlikely in the foreseeable future ...
VanjaB Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) Not unless ED supports Mantle implementation in their new renderer. Its a lot of work for what amounts to a relatively small percentage of the playerbase. DX11 - Covers everyone Mantle - Currently supports only the RX and 7XXX series of AMD cards. The difference is that Starswarm was build as a stress test for Mantle, and with certain Mantle benefits in mind.. And Battlefield 4 was built to crash, lol... I get it. Starswarm would be a closer representation of Performance Gain DCS Would see anyway, as Star Swarms main goal is Object Count, and Lots of them.. kaffehtrinkhen Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Even if I wasn't very happy with Nvidia the answer would be No. :) Thats fine with me! Just, my old computer is fine with FC2. But i tried DCS World and there is no way to play it. To buy a new Highend compuer to play just 1 game is to much! And bevor i give my money Intel, AMS or Nvidia i would give it ED for a extra Mantle modul...
