  2. oh okay thanks
  3. Look at the "+1" in this post.... Bye!!!!
  4. Well i would like, of course, to have it in Savedgames folder but it´s been like this since day one of the Viper, so, meanwhile i use Ovgme to change my cockpit liveries.
  5. I know that´s why i started to use OVgme with the Viper cockpit liveries years ago. I just mentioned that so the users that can´t get it to work can have another way around so they can use the cockpit liverie. F.
  6. That did it. Thanks!
  7. I have a 9950x3d. There's a notable difference in performance between forcing DCS onto the cached cores versus the regular cores, using Process Lasso,. If this is an indication of the difference between the x3d v non x3d cpu, I'd certainly go the x3d version If you run simhub, streaming software or other apps in the background, you'll see the benefit of the x3d version, if you use process lasso to assign processes. p.s. 9950x3d came down to $969 aud delivered, recently in Australia. It might have just gone back up in price a bit.
  8. Wow! Samsung and windows...Really!? I have not connected my Samsung at all to my computer. I bought the TV a few months ago and all my electronics are on WiFi and not hardwired. As far as testing, I will set up a new mission with the F1, drop the 29A into it after flying, and do the reverse. When everything worked I dropped the 29A into the F1 mission engines running at the runway. I will report back the details. As far as the Samsung craziness, I will research out how to kill that "wonderful windows benefit"! Any suggestions as to do this would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Больше не буду вводить в заблуждение. Кнопки "Связь" в настройках действительно нет. Зато есть "меню радиопереговоров". Имелась в виду она. Ну да ладно. Не буду дезориентировать. Счастливо найти причину не работающего радио.
  10. Thanks Griffon, I'll do that and I'll get back to you to let you know how it works (well or not) but I'm guessing it'll be fine. As for my computer! Luckily it's working again because without DCS, I'm crying.
  11. Youpi tank you
  12. Could you please provide a timestamp on any exact comment. I listened through it after work but from what I remember ''Fun'' and ''Crunch'' both just vaguely said some functionality. Such as controlling PRF for the AN/APG-71, which seems to not be that relevant to the pilot and still I have not found any evidence or photos that there is any space for a good axis or 5-way switches to operate and STT/TWS/RWS lock bandits on the pilot MFD RIO-TID repeater with the pilot HOTAS setup of any Tomcat. The way I see it is that the pilot can only touch MFD options and operate some functions such as mode, volume, range and PRF. Imanullgine a DCS F/A-18C radar screen without any HOTAS control. The top button is communication, middle is speedbreak, bottom is wingsweep. others look like simple 2-way switches, since I can't find any info on the PLM and other ACM buttons on the fingers of the throttle I simply have to guess. Reminder: I personally don't know any F-14D pilots. I think use is the right word but operate is maybe generous, I hope I'm wrong but since the data is limited I feel like staying sceptical is the right call. (the 5-way switch on the stick should be from sources I found just a redesigned weapons selector)
  13. I took a look at the core F-16 cockpit textures and they are all contained in a .zip file. Are you saying to copy the files into the zip itself or just into the same folder?
  14. My workaround is to store all cockpit liveries in their seperate folders and thrn copy the required cockpit to the default folder before starting DCS. Not sexy, but it works.
  15. It does, but annoyingly this changes the entire game into metric. I grew up with metric only so not a big deal, but I'd rather have my game settings detached from the module, i.e. I'd like to be able to leave my game generally in imperial (the more common units in aviation,) but still fly aircraft with metric instruments in metric. For example having the game set to imperial doesn't change the Viggen to be in feet and knots, which is exactly how I like it. I also don't want to take away the option for people to have their metric jets in imperial.
  16. If you apply them in the core. Then it's a workaround for this bug. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. Since Lindbergh's time, the watch, VFR rules and compass have always been a friend of the pilot (and sometimes of the stars), but that's a completely different story...
  18. Today
  19. In the core folders then I guess. That is the point of the thread, to have the custom cockpits in Saved Games, and enabled through the special settings specifically not to have them in the core folders. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  20. did anyone manage to make it work? i click reload but nothing happens, I have to close and reopen the sim to reload the textures
  21. This is redundant when you perform a full repair. Try to temporarily renamed the DCS folder in your Saved Games, to like DCS.old. In case there is some corrupted files. A repair doesn't touch the Saved Games folders. Cheers!
  22. Unfortunately, that process to load the custom cockpit does not work for me (tried multiple restarts and different missions.) It's sad, but typical of ED, that this bug is at least four years old and hasn't been addressed.
  23. Oops, thanks – I deleted my answer there.
  24. I'm positive you will be very happy! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  25. I remember reading your answer here in a BSB2 thread:
