Does DLSS make spotting other aircraft near impossible?
SaitouJaga replied to RyanR's topic in View and Spotting Bugs
2 pixels is not enough need more -
I should clarify that by trim I meant force trim aka re-centering the middle point. (See special options for things like “Instant trim” etc….) The incremental 4-way trimmer is something different and can be used for fine trim once in a stable attitude. But force trim is far more important (imho)

Key Bindings not saving between sessions GeForce Now

Use the Nvidia App instead. It's the successor to Geforce Now. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
Надо же, все таки сделали. Я не знаю с чем это связано, но на Ми-24 кнопка проверки С3М не задействована. Так что сейчас все правильно.

Thanks, not that

To sell them to countries who also have large stockpiles of ex-soviet weapons. Ukraine and India immediately come to mind.

Fair points! Depends! Personally I have never used curves or saturation nor deadzones in any module, because I tend to pick up bad habits. (I do have some saturation/deadzones for my collective to ensure I reach both endpoints. Also the "throttle" in the Gazelle needs to be able to get at 100%). So this is a personal preference. Extensions and the stick between your legs makes hovering much easier. And beware. DCS does not support curves/saturation changes with FFB. I have FFB, so I often fly with the magnetic brake off. I usually only use it when I hover and trim. Interesting. Why? As the correct option for you should be "without springs and FFB". The "Default" is for instant trimming and FFB. Excellent advice!

Key Bindings not saving between sessions GeForce Now
sjpateys replied to sjpateys's topic in General Bugs
Hello, it is actually a common problem as this issue has been mentioned a lot online. I'm looking for eplies from people who actually have a solution having implemented it themselves, assuming there is one. I should have stated this in my OP. -
Key Bindings not saving between sessions GeForce Now

hello. odd problem. keybinds are by default, in DCS case, in Saved Games. reading a bit on GFN i found this article. https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/0/3439081454536523436/ -
Hello simmers, I haven’t played DCS in a great while and i want to upgrade my system from a Inno3D 980 Ichill with i7-4790k. I want to start with VR with a Pimax Crystal Super, i have looked and layed my eyes on a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a Inno3D 5090 X3 OC. But i am also doubting to go for a 5080, do you guys have experience with above hardware and could give me some advice? Thanks again!

Is anyone else not feeling this map at low level?
MAXsenna replied to swartbyron's topic in DCS: Iraq
Thanks for correcting me. I was wrong! [emoji1303] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
Work around that may work is put a soldier unit inside and use it to detect hit. In some cases they'll sit inside so you won't see them, but they may sit on top so may or may not work.

Hey all, some feedback from the team: The detection of emitters abeam of the aircraft: the answer is it cannot do this very well. The 90 degree light doesn't correspond to exactly 90 degrees off nose, this "sector" will change both in size and location depending on power and frequency of the threat emitter. So it cannot be relied upon for precise notching. And because it relies on simultaneous reception by both the rear hemisphere and 50/70 degree antennas, both significantly off-boresight, the reception in that area is significantly weaker. They do not even overlap at 50% beamwidth like forward hemisphere channels, but actually further out. So if the signal is too weak, the 90 degree lights might not trigger at all, and the threat might just jump between 50 degrees and rear hemisphere. This is accurate with multiple sources on this.

High mouse polling rate causes stutter
SharpeXB replied to SharpeXB's topic in Game Performance Bugs
I just find changing the rate to feel clumsy especially if it has to be 125. I would change it back to 1000 after exiting DCS -
High mouse polling rate causes stutter
silverdevil replied to SharpeXB's topic in Game Performance Bugs
agreed. with the data we have available, there are users with other brands of mice, that do not use G HUB, that have the stuttering problem. and in our case, G HUB cannot be singled out as the culprit. as far as my system is concerned, i do not have stuttering, and i use G HUB. check out this link if you have not already. https://www.wikihow.com/Change-Mouse-Polling-Rate -
High mouse polling rate causes stutter
SharpeXB replied to SharpeXB's topic in Game Performance Bugs
No The problem can still occur with GUHB off, but I have it on in order to change the polling if I need to. -
No, I’m at 120 fps. looks exactly like the above example unfortunately

Does DLSS make spotting other aircraft near impossible?
Czar replied to RyanR's topic in View and Spotting Bugs
Try dots at 2 pixels on the options menu. I highly discourage upscalling in DCS, which is a very pixel sensitive type of experience but it can be mitigated with the dots at 2 pixels thing. -

I'm having much better luck with DLAA, but running not-VR at 1440px with a 5080 doesn't require DLSS. -Ryan
